Why CeilingLink?
CeilingLink was created to solve several problems.
I'm a tall guy, and my basement--like most basements--was built for short people.
How can you have a nice finished ceiling without installing drywall (lots of labor
and $$$) or losing at least 6 - 9 inches of headroom with a suspended ceiling
(lots of sweat & hassle)? The existing 1-foot square tongue and groove
ceiling tiles were another problem. These old tiles were damaged from water leakage,
basketballs, and loose pool sticks. I also needed access to the joist space above
the tiles to install a new heating duct in the living room above the basement. One more problem: The old tiles started
falling down because my kids were jumping up and down on the living room floor above!
Now some folks might try to tell their kids to stop jumping up and down, but that's
more easily said than done, if you know what I mean.
CeilingLink is the solution to all these problems,
and won't cost you an arm and a leg either.
With CeilingLink you can have a durable and secure paneled ceiling without installing
drywall or a suspended ceiling, and you can remove or replace ceiling panels when they
are damaged or you need access to the space above. CeilingLink works with standard 2x2 or 2x4
ceiling panels, and the kids can jump all they want without knocking those panels out of the CeilingLink
grid system.
